Appointment Types

Appointment Types are configured from the Action Menu:

Appointment Types
Used to complete referral stage of the Care Pathway when using Scheduling module. Organisations should have a matrix available which identifies the relationship between Appointment Type, Source of Referral and Days until Breach

Example:

A standard matrix is available as part of the EMS installation, which can be amended by appropriate users to reflect organisation's process.

Create Appointment Type

Click Add Appointment Type
Type name for Appointment Type, e.g. Routine and click Add Referral Source button
Type name for Referral Source, e.g. Out Patient
Type number of Days Until Breach, e.g. 14
Select appropriate Appointment Group (Routine, Urgent, Surveillance) required for NED.

To confirm changes click Save button
Repeat process for all desired Appointment Types

Referral Source
Multiple Referral Sources can be enter for each Appointment Types

To configure Referral Sources expand the Appointment Type by clicking the arrow next to it, as shown below. To add a new one click the Add Referral Source button.
