USER SET UP
Users of the EMS system will be added with one of two options to sign into EMS. There are two authentication methods. These will be EMS or Active Directory (AD). Most of our customers are AD users and should refer to the appropriate section below. A user can tell they are an AD user if your EMS login credentials are the same as those used for your pc when you first switch it on and log in. Those users with an EMS account, their passwords are managed via the application by local staff. 

EMS USER
If you are unable to access the system, perhaps you have forgotten your password you should contact one of the EMS Administrators, this is usually a manager or endoscopy lead within the unit. The manager will be able to reset your password for you. Your organisations help desk will not be able to help you.



AD USER
If you normally use the same details for logging on to your PC and for EMS you will be an AD user. That means that your user accounts are connected. For example periodically you will be required to change your password, this will be prompted when you log on. Once you create a new password this will immediately apply to EMS. You can use your new password to log in to EMS .
