MENUS

This section explains the navigation elements of EMS. You can move between information by clicking on the Home and Patient menu options. So if for example you are looking at a patients record and you want to see who the next patient is, click Home.

Then to swap back to the patient click the Patient, you can only be looking at one patient record at a time (you cannot have more than one patient record open).

If you hover over the Home button you will see the following (depending on your security role, you will see more or less items than are shown below).

Move the cursor to highlight the functionality required such as Panels menu, this will then show the list of panels that are available.

To bring up a panel simply click on its name.

The Panel will then display in the row of tabs along with a green notification bar.

Click Save Changes button to save the panel to the Home page. This panel will remain on the Home page until it is no longer required. To remove a panel view, click on the red cross

. This will also prompt you to save these changes.

A user can have multiple panel available and can switch between them by clicking on the desired tab.

Note: Having a lot of tabs set in your default may slow EMS down when loading for the first time.

REFRESH
When viewing a panel it should be noted that you will be able to see details of when the screen was last updated. Click Refresh to update the details.

LOCATIONS
If the user has access to a number of sites in an organisation it is now possible to filter the screen to view a particular site. This is based on the users site access permissions. If the user has only been given access to one site then that is all they can see.
