Regional Bowel Screening Option

MEDILOGIK has introduced the ability to set EMS to capture the specific regional options for Bowel Screening. This value is set per site and can be configured by System Administrators with Super User Access. The result of this is that during colonoscopy procedures screening options are available to the person completing the report. If you have any issues with the feature, please contact MEDILOGIK support.

WHAT TO DO
Log in to EMS.
Select HOME / ADMINISTRATION / SYSTEM CONFIGURATION.
Select "Edit Sites" from the available options.

Locate the site to be altered and observe the drop down option. England will be the default option.
Click the drop down and select the appropriate region for the site.

THE RESULT
By setting the regional option when an endoscopist is completing a report, the Referral Reasons screen will show the appropriate regional options if bowel screening is relevant to be selected.
