Imaging Errors

ERROR MESSAGES
When using EMS, if the user is on the "In Room" screen there are a number of error messages that may be presented to offer you a reason as to the problems you may be having. The following image shows the errors you might see.

Status: Device Connected
The Video feed should be live and in sync with the endoscope. This is the normal view of the "In Room" screen when working correctly.

Status: Device Connected
In this screen (below), the area where the feed should be visible is black. This suggests that although the ICD is connected correctly the video feed is not connected. You should check the video cable (marked with yellow ends). As soon as the connections are secured the video feed should re-establish itself.

Status: Image Drivers Not Installed
In this screen (below), the PC is unable to see or connect to the ICD. In most cases your organisation's IT Service Desk can install the drivers remotely.

Status: Device Not Connected, Check Cables
This usually indicates one of several things.
Either the ICD is not connected to the PC
The USB cable between the pc and silver box is at fault
The ICD may have been damaged

In most cases save the case you are working on and then closing EMS and fully restarting the pc will usually resolve the issue. If this is not the case, please report this to your support desk
immediately.
