Drivers - ems

OVERVIEW
When external devices are connected to a computer they require files called "Drivers" to allow the computer and device to talk to one another. Simple devices such as keyboard or memory stick's will usually already have the appropriate drivers on the PC when it is installed as these devices use simple generic "Drivers".

The Image Capture Device (ICD) that MEDILOGIK use is far from simple and requires the installation of additional bespoke drivers. During the installation of the EMS ICD, MEDILOGIK staff and the local IT teams will ensure that the drivers are installed correctly to allow the imaging to work.

For most customers, Medical staff, Management and MEDILOGIK employees will not have the authority to install the drivers on the PC. This is usually arranged via the local IT Help Desk. If you believe that the PC no longer has the appropriate EMS Video drivers installed on it contact local IT Help Desk as soon as possible.
