Vetting

OVERVIEW
The Vetting step is used to record:
  • That the procedure is suitable and accepted
  • Is suitable for a Trainee, by flagging it as suitable for trainee the EMS Scheduler will include dedicated training sessions when it searches for suitable appointment slots.
  • Who the Vetting Endoscopist is
  • If the referral is Direct Access then you do not need to provide the name of the Vetting Endoscopist
  • Any additional notes about the patient/procedure to be performed

If you don't think the procedure is suitable then click the Not Suitable and Rejected button, this will then show a popup window for you to record why you do not think it is suitable.

This episode will then be listed on the Cancellations ready to be actioned (Letters generated).
